This Privacy Policy is issued by Interlink Group Pty Ltd
ABN 32 062 72 632 (Interlink). It applies to all Interlink
Group of Companies, as listed below.

This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our
corporate Online Privacy Policy.
Interlink Group Pty Ltd values client privacy and complies
with the National Privacy Principles that became law on 21
December 2001. We will only collect personal information
about you that is necessary to provide you with the products
and services you want from us.
Collection of Information
We collect personal information from you for managing your
accounts, assisting with your product and service enquiries
and supplying additional products and services to you. We
collect personal information about you, usually from you
and, if required, you have authorised us to collect information
about you from a third party like your employer, accountant,
sales consultants (contractor), credit reporting agency or
associated companies and others.
This information may include your name, addresses, date of
birth, tax file number, contact details, employment details,
financial position (assets and liabilities) and other such
information needed to successfully manage our business. In
certain circumstances, we may collect sensitive information,
such as health details for eligibility and assessment of
specific insurance products and as such, we will take all
reasonable steps to ensure the information has been obtained
from you and related third parties with your consent to do
so. All information requested by us is required in order
for us to fulfill our obligations to you.
Specific to Insurance Products and Service, we may obtain
additional information about you, such as:
- Medical information and state of health.
- Specific Insurance application requirements.
- Current certificates of insurance and renewal information.
- Information about your family, such as children, marital
status and their state of health etc.
- Superannuation information.
We will only collect sensitive information such as health,
race, religion, criminal record etc. if it is necessary and
we have your consent.
Use of personal information
We use your personal information to:
- Assess and process applications
- Provide you with a particular
product or service from any one of our business areas or
related entities (as outlined above);
- Provide you with information
about products and services, which may be suited to your
needs;
- Offer you products in conjunction
with another organisation whose logo or name will also
appear on the offer. (If you feel that you no longer
wish to receive offers for our products and services, you
may call us on 1300 558 554 and we will ensure no further
offers will be made.)

your account details with you. Confidentiality of your
personal information is critical and assured.
Given the importance of your personal information, we endeavour
to keep it as complete, accurate and up-to-date as possible.
We do not use identity numbers from government agencies,
such as Tax Fine Numbers or Pension Numbers, to identify
your applications, information or accounts.
It is important to note that you are not forced to provide
us with personal information, but it is acknowledged that
in not providing the requested information, we may be hampered
in providing the services or products that you have requested.

and telephone number and mark attention to the Privacy officer.
Interlink Group’s right to disclose your information
We will ask for your consent before we provide anyone outside
the Interlink Group of Companies with your information. Once
we receive consent your information may be disclosed to:
- Our associated and or related companies.
- A joint venture company.
- A lending institution.
- An insurance company.
- A solicitor.
- An accountant.
There may be occasions where we will disclose personal information
to:
- Assist various enforcement bodies
perform their functions, such as, government agencies involved
in protecting public revenue,
- Prevent threat to life, health
and safety,
- Provide you with information
about products or services, which may be suited to your
needs,
- Service providers, such as mailing
house for the purposes of sending account statements, newsletters
and product and services,
- A person who is legally responsible
for you following receipt of your consent to do so, such

to you or to us in respect of risks relating to you, or

Upon your request, we will provide you with information
we hold on you, which may lawfully be provided, and the purposes
for which it is used. In some circumstances, charges may
apply for retrieval of this information.
Interlink Group protects the security of your personal
information
Interlink Group takes all reasonable steps to protect your
personal information. Our internal security process is designed
to protect your information from misuse, loss or unauthorized
modification, disclosure or access.
Electronic information transmitted via email, fax or voice
is monitored to ensure it is free from interception and unauthorized
disclosure. All information is contained in secured premises
monitored by security companies, procedural safeguards are
also in place to protect client information such as computerised
data bases are password protected and only access by authorised
staff.
Not satisfied?
If for any reason you feel that we have breached our privacy
obligations to you, we have a dispute resolution process
to respond to your complaint. If you have a complaint, please
raise this with the staff person with whom you have been
dealing. Once a dispute has been identified, it will immediately
be referred to a Dispute Resolution Officer or Privacy Officer.
Correction of information
Interlink Group endeavours to ensure that all information
collected, used or disclosed is correct and up-to-date. Please
notify us should changes need to be made to your personal
information - all requests will be acted upon within a reasonable
time.
Should there be a disagreement as to the accuracy of information
you should request that notes be attached to that effect.
